Stripe x Toyota — Brand Partnership Story
We partnered with Stripe to produce a brand story spotlighting its collaboration with Toyota in Japan—an exploration of how digital payments and automotive innovation intersect to reshape customer experience.

brand story
Our objective was to craft a film that felt both human and forward-looking. At the heart of the story was Tomoaki Nakatani, Creator of Toyota Mechacomi, whose vision bridged technology and mobility. Through an in-depth interview, we captured his perspective on modernizing the automotive maintenance ecosystem and the broader transformation of the industry. His thoughtful commentary grounded the narrative in authenticity while highlighting Toyota’s culture of continuous innovation.
Production took us across several locations in Japan, allowing us to visually reflect the scale and heritage of the partnership. We filmed in dynamic urban settings and at the iconic Toyota Museum, where the brand’s legacy provided a powerful backdrop to conversations about the future. Scenic establishing shots—including views of Mount Fuji—helped contextualise the story within Japan’s rich technological and cultural landscape.

To elevate the storytelling, we incorporated slick motion graphics and custom-built infographics. These visual elements translated complex ideas—platform integration, digital transformation, and industry-wide impact—into clear, engaging moments on screen. A clean typographic system and animated timelines reinforced key milestones, while subtle graphic overlays complemented the cinematic footage.
The result was a polished, globally resonant brand film that balanced corporate credibility with emotional storytelling. By combining documentary-style interviews, location-driven cinematography, and sharp motion design, we delivered a case study that not only highlighted the Stripe–Toyota partnership, but also demonstrated how thoughtful video production can bring innovation stories to life.
