Stripe Stories: Staycity Aparthotels
We produced Stripe Staycity, a Dublin-shot documentary exploring how Staycity uses Stripe to power seamless guest experiences.

Stripe partnered with Staycity to create a brand story showing how Stripe’s technology supports the Staycity guest experience. The goal was to move beyond a standard customer testimonial and produce something more engaging and reflective of Staycity’s modern aparthotel offering.
The concept focused on three guest types: the cosy, the curious and the corporate. Each represented a different style of Staycity stay. We cast actors to portray these profiles and designed scenarios showing them using the aparthotel and exploring the surrounding area. Throughout the film, Stripe’s technology operates in the background, enabling payments and services without interrupting the experience.
Production focused on clean, contemporary visuals. Styling, wardrobe and production design helped define each guest persona. Dynamic camera movement was used to connect the different scenarios and keep the narrative moving.
We wanted the film to feel immersive and dynamic. One of the standout techniques we used was the snorricam, particularly in the “about town” sequences, which gave those scenes a distinctive energy and sense of momentum. To clearly communicate the payment journey, we relied heavily on motion graphics built entirely from official Stripe assets, ensuring everything on screen reflected the real product experience. We also developed VFX moments that placed the viewer inside the device, looking out at the cast member as they interacted with a Stripe terminal or ordered food via the Staycity website. That perspective helped make the technology feel tangible and human, rather than abstract.
It was a genuinely enjoyable project to bring to life, made possible by a brilliant team and two collaborative, trusting clients.
